How to make Luscious Ice Creams without a Machine

… or much time or effort or having to
mash the stuff as it freezes.

I originally wrote and published this book in 2015 and it was well reviewed, including references to the photography. However, I now feel that colour printing of so many images seriously impacted the price of the book and have decided to make it more accessible. Now all the images from the book and lots more are on my eponymous Pinterest page Luscious Ice Creams without a Machine, please have a look.

This truly is the quickest and easiest way ever to make rich, creamy dairy ice cream without a machine or any hard work mashing it. Just mix it, bung it in the freezer and forget it! It also lends itself to making almost any ice cream you can imagine!

This is also very much a proven method; working as a chef in the Caribbean, as I did, the customers were very pernickety and naturally, in all that lovely hot sunshine, ice cream desserts were much in demand.

Unable to get hold of either an ice cream machine or a good quality ready-made product I managed to make luscious ice creams using this simple foolproof method; so simple and foolproof, in fact, that it would be a shame not to pass it on.

Luscious Ice Creams without a Machine” includes …

~   100+ Great No Churn Ice Cream Recipes
~   Sauces and Syrups
~   Mix-Ins, Toppings and lots of Ancillary Recipes
~   Great Serving & Presentation Suggestions
~   All the Information needed to Make your Own Luscious Creations

PS. The kindle version of Luscious Ice Cream without a Machine is about
the same price as a carton of ice cream and even the paperback is only about twice as muchso much cheaper than an ice cream maker!

Reviews

These are some of the reviews of the original edition of my book but they are all applicable to the new edition as I have changed none of the contents of the book other than remove the coloured pics which are now on Pinterest.

Some fab ice cream ideas, when I fancy ice cream, but can’t be bothered with the faff of making a custard base, there are lots of wonderful recipes in here, still reading through it, have been really impressed.

“This book will make you hungry for ice cream. I tried several of the recipes and let me tell you. This is the best ice cream you have ever tasted and SO EASY!”

“Fabulous book, easy to follow recipes, good ideas and interesting writing style. A great addition for any ice cream lovers and not needing an ice cream machine is a bonus. I have made a number of the recipes already and they work perfectly. Highly recommended.”

“Suzy’s humorous comments and anecdotes make this a fun read – I actually read the book from start to finish, instead of dipping into it, as with most recipe books Even if you hate ice cream it’s worth reading this book, because it’s so entertaining.”

I bought this book as my son has a raw egg allergy and with this little gem he can eat them all!

I made the coffee ice cream which involved making a coffee syrup which worked perfectly and was delicious. I have also made the mincemeat and brandy ice cream which is going to be served with our Christmas pud if it lasts that long; it is simply divine.”

“This is the only way I will make ice cream from now on and am pleased we can. With this easy recipe you can eat delicious homemade ice cream without all the emulsifiers, stabilisers and goodness knows what goes into the commercial stuff.”

“Was going to give this as a present. but, after reading it, I may have to order it again. I can’t give it away, as I need it myself!”

The book is written in a witty, quirky way which is a joy to read.

No kidding, this method makes the best creamiest ice cream ever with hardly any work! Loads of ideas and recipes included.
